IITNT Speaker Series

A.J. Angus

Are you an engineering leader tired of building features no one uses? Or have you recently started a new venture that lacks the customer interest that you expected? If so, join this session to become a champion of customer discovery and bridge the gap between engineering excellence and market needs.

A.J. Angus, a Product & Analytics leader  based in DFW has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. In this session he will share his consolidated learnings from his experience as a leader in Product & Operations teams at Google, Elastic, Axon and Observable. You will learn to discover techniques to uncover customer problems, test assumptions and build quick prototypes before significant investment. These techniques will allow you to build products with purpose and focus on features that matter most to users (and your business).

A.J. has a BBA in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology. With his education and experience, he brings a data focused approach to all ventures including how to build teams that represent broader humanity. In his spare time, he cooks, works on photography, and chases around his two dogs.
